With so much going on this week, it’s great to see so much frighteningly free fun on offer too!

Weston Park Museum will be helping children make slime, create candy floss and put their hair on end this Saturday, with some drop-in Halloween fun from 10am-12pm.

A series of free activity-packed ‘Room on the Broom’ workshops are being held in the city for under fives, so call into Darnall Children’s Centre from 9.30am-11.30am today, Wybourn Children’s Centre from 9.30am-11.30am tomorrow, or Shortbrook Children’s Centre from 10am-12pm, and Woodthorpe Children’s Centre from 1pm-3pm, on Thursday.

Experience Barnsley will be hosting some spooky storytelling for little visitors every day this week, from 10.30am.

And if your littles ones have ever fancied playing detective for a day - now’s their chance! The Mysterious Moor Mover has struck again on Moor one has seen or heard anything, but strange things have been going missing. Visit the Moor Market, near the Arundel Gate entrance, this Thursday between 11am and 3pm to have your fingerprints taken, so you can be ruled out as a suspect, before jumping on the case and searching for clues...
