This is when a Prosecco Festival is coming to Sheffield

The UK’s biggest and original dedicated prosecco festival is coming to Sheffield this weekend.

The Prosecco Festival will give bubble lovers a chance to sample more than 30 types of prosecco, cava, pink fizz and prosecco cocktails.

It will take place at Bradmall Lane Football Stadium in the Platinum Suite on Saturday February 1, with afternoon and evening sessions for people to attend.

The festival has previously taken place at more than 30 locations UK wide, and has been hosted in the city before.

Shannon Williams, Events Assistant, said: “Sheffield is really is well known for loving its fizz, and after huge demand it was a must to come back in 2020.”

Within the venue, there will be stations offering more than 30 types of prosecco, spumante, cava, brut, pink fizz, prosecco cocktails and a handpicked selection of world gins. For those non-fizz fans there will be an Italian peroni area too.

An array of Italian street food, which has been designed to compliment the array of fizz, will be available too.

There will also a be a stage with a dance floor filling live band throughout all the sessions.

Standard entry is from £11.50 and includes festival access, a branded Prosecco Festival flute and complimentary prosecco, a wristband, live entertainment and access to the Italian street food stand. All bars work on a token system and tokens can be bought using cash or card from the venue.
