The Sheffield independent restaurants taking part in Eat Out to Help Out scheme

The Government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme begins today with diners able to enjoy half price food and drinks throughout August.

The scheme allows customers to get 50 per cent off food and non-alcoholic drinks up to the value of £10 per person between Monday and Wednesday at participating venues.

It aims to help the hospitality sector recover post-lockdown.

Both chain and independent restaurants are able to take part, with a host of Sheffield’s best-loved indies signing up. This Is Sheffield, a website which supports independent businesses, has published a list of pubs and restaurants where you can enjoy a meal and drinks for less.
