Macpot and Fools Gold Pizza are both set to welcome their first diners at Orchard Square in the city centre in mid-February.

Macpot, whose new premises will be found on Orchard Terrace on the shopping centre’s upper floor, was started in 2018 by sisters Emily and Hatty Webster.

Dishes will be available to eat in or take away from the restaurant, which will be open 8am-4pm between Monday and Friday and 10am-6pm on Saturdays, according to Orchard Square.

Fools Gold Pizza, which promises to serve up ‘artisan pizza, cocktails and good times’, will also be found on Orchard Terrace.

It will be open from midday-10pm Wednesday to Sunday.

Orchard Square had given the opening date for both restaurants as February 14, but now says the exact dates are yet to be confirmed.
