Sword Dancer in Sheffield to undergo massive refurbishment following six-figure investment
The new look is expected to be unveiled next month
A Sheffield pub is meant to undergo a massive refurbishment with new televisions, entertainment and food offerings on their way.
The Sword Dancer on Turner Business Park in Handsworth has been temporarily closed as the six-figure refurbishment takes place.

It is expected that the Greene King pub will reopen next month under the Flaming Grill brand.
Refurbishments will include extensive improvements to the pub’s interior with modern decor, lighting and furniture, with fresh signage, planters and garden furniture added outside.
A Greene King spokesperson said: “The Sword Dancer’s focus on sports will be renewed with the addition of a state-of-the-art media wall and upgraded TV screens and sound systems showing the latest live fixtures on Sky Sports and TNT Sports.
“Those with a competitive streak will be able to make the most of two new interactive dart boards, as well as an upgraded pool table.
“Following the investment, customers can look forward to a fantastic new food and drinks offering, with dishes ranging from sizzling skillets and burgers to sharing feasts and delicious desserts alongside a wide variety of beer, wines, cocktails and soft drinks available at the bar.”
