Popular charity pub crawl returns to Sheffield for September 2026
A popular Sheffield pub trail that has raised thousands of pounds for mental health services is set to return this autumn.
The Sheffield Half Pint Marathon will run throughout September 2026, bringing together independent pubs, bars and taprooms across the city for a month-long celebration of Sheffield’s hospitality scene while raising money for charity.
Organised by True North Brew Co., the event invites participants to visit venues across the city and collect stickers as they go, encouraging people to discover new pubs while supporting local businesses.
Participants can take part at any point between September 1 and September 30 by picking up a sticker card from a participating venue.
They can then visit as many venues as they wish during the month, whether aiming to complete the full challenge or simply exploring a handful of new locations.
The event will once again support Sheffield Mind, raising funds for mental health services in the city.
Last year's Half Pint Marathon raised more than £5,000 for the charity, and organisers are hoping to match or surpass that total this year.
Each participating venue will serve one of the official Sheffield Half Pint Marathon beers, with 25p from every pint sold donated to Sheffield Mind.
Visitors will also be able to contribute through collection tins and the charity's donation platform.
Organisers say they expect the 2026 event to be the biggest yet, with more venues, special beers and activities planned throughout the month.
A full list of participating venues, official beers and event activities is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
