Sheffield farm releases its own brand of cider just in time for summer - and here's where to grab a bottle
A cider pressed from apples from Whirlow Hall Farm is now available to buy following its launch at a cider festival over the last bank holiday weekend.
Whirlow Hall Farm Trust planted their heritage orchard seven years ago, and it produces 24 varieties of heritage apples.

The trust has bee involved in every step of the cider-making process, from pruning and picking, to designing the label and sticking them on the bottles.
The label was designed by Sheffield Hallam University student David Carr, and was created as part of his university placement.
The launch, where the cider was a perfect accompaniment to the trust’s home-grown hog roasts, proved a great success with over a quarter of the yield sold in just two days.

Most importantly, sales of their cider raised much-needed funds to support the work of the charity.
The trust plays a vital role in the city’s alternative provision network, offering a unique learning environment for the vulnerable children and young people it supports.
Whirlow’s Orchard cider is now available to purchase online in sweet or dry varieties.
