Promising great beet and fun times, the annual event sees participants travel between nine pubs on the trendy Ecclesall Road while enjoying each’s real ale offering this weekend, from April 17 - 19.

Those interested can also enter a competition to win a £50 bar tab or goodie bags, by collecting a trail map and collecting stamps from each participating venue.

Announcing the event on Facebook, organiser Lance Worthington wrote: “The EccyFest Ale Trail is just around the corner, so pick up your stamp card from any participating bar and make your way along nine of Ecclesall Road’s finest independent spots.

“Grab a drink at each stop, collect your stamps, and soak up the atmosphere along the way.
