Popular pub in Sheffield city centre set to reopen this month
A popular pub in Sheffield’s city centre which closed suddenly is set to reopen later this month.
The Three Tuns on Silver Street Head shut its doors for the third time in just three years on Friday, February 28.
An advertisement seeking a new “passionate and creative” landlord to run the “classic British pub” was placed online after the closure – and the post has now been filled.
The traditional boozer, located in an eye-catching ‘flat iron’-style building, is scheduled to reopen on Friday, 20 March.
A sign outside reads: “To customers old and new, we are reopening with new owners on Friday 20 March.”
The pub’s licensed opening hours ate 10am until midnight Sunday to Thursday, and 10am until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
The establishment closed in March 2017 before reopening then closing again in August 2018. In October that year, it reopened once more before closing in February.
