Back by popular demand, the much-loved carvery is returning to the Little Castle in Markham Vale with a new-and-improved carvery menu, now available for the community to enjoy seven days a week.

After listening closely to feedback from local guests, the team at the Little Castle has taken the opportunity to update and enhance its carvery offering, which returns to the pub daily from Saturday March 28.

The refreshed menu keeps everything guests know and love about a traditional carvery, alongside carefully selected meats and a rotating choice of seasonal vegetables, ensuring all the classic trimmings remain firmly centre stage. The result is a generous, comforting carvery designed to offer great choice, quality and value – perfect for relaxed meals with family and friends.

Sara Hargreaves, general manager at the Little Castle, said: “A proper carvery means a lot to our community, and we know how much our guests value great, comforting food. We’ve listened, refreshed the menu, and we’re really pleased to be bringing it back. It’s familiar, hearty food done properly – and we think our guests will love it.”

The return of the carvery reflects just how important it is to the local community, from families looking for an easy mid‑week meal to older residents who enjoy a warm, welcoming place to eat out. The updated offer has been shaped with these guests in mind, combining hearty favourites with the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional local pub.

Sara added: “We’re really looking forward to opening our doors to even more guests and giving them that comforting, Sunday dinner feeling any day of the week. Whether you’re a familiar face or popping in for the very first time, we can’t wait to make you feel right at home.”

Alongside the updated carvery, guests can continue to enjoy all the pub’s popular dishes and warm, friendly service which makes the Little Castle the perfect spot for family and friends to come together.

The popular pub became one of the first Marston’s pubs to reopen as a ‘Woodie’s’ in July, with a family-focused offer to provide shared good times for all the family. The pub also includes an indoor woodland-themed den, outdoor play area and a self-serve sweet factory for children.
