One of Sheffield's newest bars is making sure to celebrate its first New Year's Eve in style. Kapital with have a live big-band swing, DJ and even magicians as they fill out the Eorpean-style beer hall. | NW
8. Slug and Lettuce, Holly Street, Sheffield S1 2GT
Slug and Lettuce will be dazzling on New Year's Eve as the popular cocktail bar hosts a 'Glitter Ball'. On their website, they describe this unique event, writing: "Think NYE events with sparkle, style, and a splash of fizz from the moment you walk through the door." | Finn Smith
