New measures are in place to help keep people safe, including perspex screens at drive-thru windows and protective equipment for staff. A spending limit of £25 per order is being encouraged, with customers are urged to pay by contactless payment methods. Drive-thru customers can also order ahead on the My McDonald’s App.

McDonald’s has also reopened in Barnsley at Stairfoot Roundabout and on Upper New Street.
