McDonald's has reopened two more of its restaurants in Sheffield for Drive-Thru and takeaway as of today, Thursday 4 June.

The fast food chain has announced its Handsworth and Drake House restaurants are once again serving customers, as of 11am.

It comes as five McDonald’s restaurants in the city reopened on Wednesday, with huge queues spotted as hundreds flocked to get their hands on classic menu items.

New measures are in place to help keep people safe, including perspex screens at drive-thru windows and protective equipment for staff. A spending limit of £25 per order is being encouraged, with customers are urged to pay by contactless payment methods. Drive-thru customers can also order ahead on the My McDonald’s App.

McDonald’s has also reopened in Barnsley at Stairfoot Roundabout and on Upper New Street.
