KFC customer in Sheffield 'disgusted' after ordering a Zinger Burger and getting this

A woman has told how she was ‘disgusted’ to be served the less-than-appetising burger at the fast food chain's Handsworth branch.

Arisha Qaiser says she bought a Zinger Burger Meal from the drive-through restaurant on Sunday, July 12, but was shocked when she opened the box to reveal the contents.

"Itt only took about about a minute before the burger meal was ready, and I said that was quick,” said the 18-year-old beauty therapy student, who lives in Woodhouse.

“When I opened the burger it was the most disgusting thing ever. It was freezing cold, the colour was more like that of a chocolate chip cookie and the crust was like dust,”

Arisha says she returned to the restaurant and was offered a refund but only for the burger, not the entire meal.

She was a regular before the lockdown, she says, but claims the experience has put her and her family off returning.

The Zinger Burger is described by KFC as a ‘simple, succulent 100% chicken breast fillet burger, plus spine-tingling Zing’ but after Arisha shared her photo on Facebook most commenters agreed that what she got fell well short of that billing.

One wrote ‘take it back’, another commented ‘that chicken looks older than me’, and a third said ‘looks like a chocolate chip cookie’.

The Star has contacted KFC, which has yet to respond.
