First look inside new Sheffield restaurant The Teller - where small plates rule and the desserts sound gorgeous

Overseen by general manager Andy Mastin and chef patron Sam Armitage, the ethos is ‘high-end quality food, great drinks and decent tunes’. Gourmet small plates are on the menu, and much attention has been paid to desserts too – fried sticky toffee pudding, billionaire’s shortcake with dulce de leche ice cream and ‘Granny’s Queen of Puddings’ are available to order.
