Morrisons has launched a limited-edition Mini Egg cheesecake in its Market Street Cake Shop – billed as the perfect last-minute treat to pick up for the Easter weekend.

Morrisons says that fans have been going wild for the new product on social media, with comments such as ‘I need this in my life’ and ‘We need a serious Morrisons road trip’. Cheesecake lovers will need to be quick to grab one however, as the new treat is available for a limited time only.

The Mini Egg cheesecake features a classic biscuity base, with a sweet vanilla cream cheese topping and finished off with crumbled Mini Eggs. Priced at £3.50 to serve six, it is designed as a tea-time snack or an Easter dessert shared with family or friends outdoors.

The new cheesecake sits alongside other Mini Egg products recently launched by Morrisons, including a Mini Egg Doughnut and Mini Egg Cookies.
