The Furnace, which is the latest venue to open within the Heart of the City development and is located in a new public square on Charter Row, opposite the rear entrance to The Light cinema, welcomed its first diners last night.
The bar and restaurant’s stylish terrace includes a stunning firepit, and the Sheffield-inspired menu includes humble fish cakes which have been elevated to fine dining, Yorkshire Tea-smoked mackerel, and mouth-watering Yorkshire puddings served with vanilla ice cream, salted caramel sauce and dried raspberries.
