Dunkin’ Donuts last Tuesday opened another branch beside the KFC in Berkeley Precinct on Ecclesall Road, adding to its existing outlet on Devonshire Street in the city centre.

The world-famous doughnut chain, which launched in 1950 in Massachusetts, is rapidly expanding across the UK.

The Broughton Lane store is the sixth to have opened nationally since November and the 12th new branch to have appeared since the start of the first lockdown in March 2020.

It is not known how many new jobs will be created at the latest branch.
