Dishes and exclusive menus at these Sheffield restaurants to delight couples this Valentine's Day

It is just more than a week to go until the most romantic date in the year, Valentine’s Day. If you would like to show your loved one how much you care by treating them to a mouth-watering meal on February 14, there are a few restaurants across Sheffield you could visit.

Guests who visit Turtle Bay, Holly Street, city centre, can expect a laid-back Caribbean dinner served with bottomless drinks and reggae music during the venues’ ‘One Love’ evening.

Diners can choose any main dish from the menu and enjoy unlimited drinks from Turtle Bay’s tropical rum cocktail collection throughout dinner for £35 per person.

Not far from the city centre, The Milestone, Kelham Island, has also created a special menu for the special day. This one has four courses and costs £40 per person, including arrival fizz, wine with dinner and dessert wine.

Choices include torched mackerel or roasted celeriac and apple soup to start, flank steak with baby grilled leeks and red wine and chocolate jus for main, or a vegan and gluten-free pak choi.

Carluccio’s, in the Oasis dining quarter, Meadowhall, is also offering a special menu for lovers to share.

Enjoy cacio e pepe fritti, crispy fried ravioli filled with ricotta and pecorino romano and black pepper, or its must-try dish, lobster and prawn linguine with samphire, served in a crab, white wine, and chilli sauce.

The menu, which is available between February 12 and 16, is priced at at £24.95 for three courses and a glass of sparkling rosé.

A little further afield, but set in the charming and beautiful Peak District, The Chequers Inn, Froggatt Edge, is offering a special menu created just for the evening.

The menu, which costs £39 per person, includes a special selection of puddings to share. Savoury dishes on the menu include pan-seared king scallops to start and puy lentil, forest mushroom and pine nut strudel.

Another Peak District eatery offering an exclusive Valentine’s Day menu is The Peacock at Rowsley. Its menu features 10 dishes for couples to enjoy, for £75 per person, including chicken and smoked ham terrine, pickled mushrooms and celeriac and chocolate souffle.

Booking a table for Valentine’s weekend at all of these restaurants is advised to avoid disappointment.
