The Royal on Market street in Woodhouse village has recently been listed for lease with reasons currently unknown as owners have remained tight-lipped about the plans due to ongoing negotiations.

It is believed that the current leaseholders are due to step down from the business on December 8, and advertisements are already in place for a new publican.
