Cheese and wine pairing "party" to come to Sheffield next week
A “cheese and wine party” that will see food lovers enjoy half a dozen cheeses paired with complimentary glasses of vino is set to come to Sheffield.
The unique event night, entitled ‘Chat Cheese, Get Wined, is set to take place at Orchard Square Mac & Cheese kitchen, Macpot on Wednesday, June 23.
The event has been organised by Manchester cheese and wine company, Decent Drop, and a spokesperson said that those taking part should expect a “night of revelry, brilliant wine, fantastic cheese and great company.”
They added: “Expect flowing wine, mountains of cheese and loads of fun and games. Decent Drop are all about bringing the fun – no pretentious wine talk or complicated lingo, just good times with great people!”
Those taking part will be invited to try six wines, paired with six unique cheeses, along with crackers and chutneys.
The event is a one-off, and the name is a play on Sheffield footballer, Jamie Vardy’s infamous riposte to an online troll.
Tickets cost £40 per person and can be purchased here: https://www.decentdrop.com/live-tastings?_ke=
