When you reach the end of a busy week, there is nothing better than a takeaway and a movie. For many, the go-to is often Chinese food.
The sweet and salty flavours of the cuisine are a source of comfort for many Brits.
We asked the people of Sheffield where the best place to get Chinese food is in the city, and over 170 people shared their response.
With many to choose from, we were able to narrow it down to a top three.
Noodle Inn - London Road
Many Star readers suggested the Noodle Inn as their go-to Chinese takeaway.
Simon Bowhen said since trying Noodle Inn, he will not go anywhere else for a Chinese takeaway. He wrote: “Noodle Inn on London Road is the best hands down, nowhere better.
“Lovely staff and the Chinese community all eat there with their families so that tells you what you need to know - it’s amazing.”
Sarah Cutts agreed, and said: “We were there yesterday with my family having tea time and it was so yummy. We took some home as we were full.”
China Garden - Derbyshire Lane
Some of the most liked comments were those suggesting China Garden.
Phil Cavill was enjoying a meal there as he posted. He described China Garden as “Old School 80s style takeaway Chinese”.
