Tiger Works in the city centre has announced it plans to open its doors again at 12.01am on Monday, May 17, the first day on which indoor drinking and dining will be allowed under the Government’s road map out of lockdown.

The West Street venue, which won the People’s Choice crown for best bar in the 2020/21 Best Bar None Awards, is open until 3am, giving punters plenty of time to toast the latest lifting of restrictions into the small hours.

Announcing the news on Facebook, the popular bar and cocktail lounge said it was ‘super excited’ to be ‘getting the party started as soon as we are allowed’.

“This event will have tables available for walk-ins (in accordance with social distancing and other guidelines) and the FIRST 50 GUESTS WILL GET A FREE SHOT,” it added.
