The Star has tried some items on Asda’s new Just Essentials rebrand range, trying to find out what we could get for £5.
In the end our receipt was £5.01, but included a frozen pizza, chicken nuggets, ketchup, orange juice, instant coffee, orange squash, milk chocolate, a mince and onion pie and a tin of spaghetti hoops.
We split our taste test into two makeshift meals and gave a score out of 10 for each individual item.
