Aldi makes urgent product recall on yoghurts

Aldi has made an urgent product recall on yoghurts supplied by Muller which may contain pieces of metal.

The discount supermarket is recalling the Brooklea Light Strawberry Single Pots and the Light Fruit six-packs in raspberry and cranberry, and strawberry flavours.

The barcode on the products in 4088600172521 and 4088600172194. Batches affected are those with best before dates of 20/02/20, 26/02/20 and 04/03/20.

Aldi has around around 20 stores across South Yorkshire.

The company says the move is a precautionary measure and customers will be given a full refund.

A statement said: “Our supplier, Muller, has recalled these products as a precautionary measure because they may contain small pieces of metal.

“Customers should return the product to their nearest store where they will receive a full refund. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your co-operation.
