100 gins to try at Sheffield festival

Gin lovers will be able to try more than 100 different varieties of the drink this weekend at a dedicated event.

The Sheffield Gin Festival 2020, which is taking place on Saturday at The Cutlers' Hall between noon and 10.30pm, will offer people the chance to try a range of gins.

To help set the party mood at the event, hosted by the Gin Society, there will also be live music and food on offer.

The event is split in to two sessions, an afternoon session from noon to 4.30pm and an evening session from 6pm to 10.30pm.

There will also be some other drinks offer to ensure all are welcome. A range of more than 15 premium Rums, from dark to spiced and flavoured, will be available to buy. Or, some sparkle can be added to the experience with a Prosecco Royale.

Tickets cost £12.50 per person, plus booking fee, which entitles the ticket owner to entry in to the event plus extras, including a voucher for a free gin and tonic, a Copa glass and stainless steel straw to take home, a Gin Festival book and gin talks from a gin expert, and a few samples too.

The Gin Society operate a voucher system for the purchase of all drinks and vouchers are available in multiples of £5 from the voucher station. All gins or rums cost £5 including appropriate mixer and garnish. Prosecco Royales are £10. Cash and card payments are accepted.
