A WORRIED Doncaster family were given new hope today after two sightings of their missing 14-year-old son in London.
The sightings of Andrew Gosden were on Oxford Street and in Southwark on Tuesday.
There was a report of a third sighting in Waterloo yesterday, but the Metropolitan Police now believe it was a case of mistaken identity.
Dad Kevin is co-ordinating the search from the family’s Balby home while wife Glenys and daughter Charlotte are in London looking for Andrew.
He said: “The sightings are very reassuring news - at least we now know he’s alive and has been looking after himself and we know that people are aware he’s missing and are keeping a look out for him.
“Of course, what we really want is to hear from Andrew himself and get him back home.”
His mum and sister have been distributing posters around London to help trace him.
Andrew, who went missing in Doncaster on Friday September 14, was last seen was wearing a black top, black jeans and trainers. He is 5ft 3ins tall and slim. He has straight brown hair and wears glasses.
