HIGH-flying sculptures are lighting up a South Yorkshire park.
Life-sized sculptures are suspended between trees and scattered around Clifton Park in Rotherham.
The Northern Star exhibition uses large statues which are brought to life with atmospheric light.
Children launched the exhibition with a special lantern walk parade, culminating with the lanterns being floated in the park's paddling pool – creating a 'pool of light' effect.
The exhibition will be on show until Saturday March 15 featuring the work of world-renowned Polish artist Jerzy Kedziora as well as work from local artists.
A Rotherham Council spokesman said: "There are exquisite, life-size fibreglass sculptures between the trees of the 56-acre town centre park, illuminated by a fantastic light show."
