An event organiser is planning her fourth ladies’ fashion show in Sheffield to raise money for charity.

Following the success of the three previous fashion shows, Charlotte Calvert is now planning an event which is three times bigger than her earlier events.

The ladies’ spring fashion evening has been planned to coincide with Mother’s Day.

The event will raise money for Amy’s Retreat, a Sheffield-based charity which supports children with cancer.

The charity aims to provide families with quality time with their children away from their day-to-day routines.

Charlotte said she decided to support Amy’s Retreat because she has been working with children for almost 10 years.

“I thought as this is now my fourth event and having held events for Help for Heroes and St Luke’s Hospice in the past I would like to help support a Sheffield children’s charity,” she said.

There will be two fashions shows, one featuring adult clothes from Pure Urban clothing store and one featuring children’s clothes from Squirts, both based on Ecclesall Road.

Wigs and Warpaint hair and beauty salon West One will style the models’ hair.

Visitors will have a chance to browse more than 20 stalls of luxury items, including jewellery, handbags, beauty, cosmetics, food and mother’s day gifts.

The event will be held at DoubleTree by Hilton, Sheffield Park, Chesterfield Road South on Thursday, March 20.

Tickets cost £8 and must be purchased in advance.

Doors open at 7pm and the fashion shows will begin at 8pm.
