The two breed-specific events have been planned by Pup Up Cafe to provide a space for Pugs and Frenchies to meet more dogs just like them, and for their owners to meet too.

Event planner Marcus Ackford said: “Due to popular demand we're hosting the first ever Pup Up Cafe Pug edition and also Frenchie edition.

“We love dogs and we’re quite fond of cafes too, that’s why we love hosting these events. It’s quite simple really, we put in all the time and resources and people share a wonderful doggy day.

“If you love Pugs or Frenchies, enjoy seeing many little ones in the same place or are looking for your pup to make some friends the come and join the fun.

“Our events usually gather over 150 dogs and also lots of admirers throughout the day.”

The Pug Pop Up Cafe will be held at Revolution Sheffield, Fitzwilliam Street, from 10am to 11.30am on Sunday, February 2. The Frenchie Pop Up Cafe will be at the same venue on the same day at midday from 5pm.

Dog owners need to book a ticket for themselves and their pooches, although their pet’s ticket is free. There will only be 50 puppies in the venue at any one time, and owners will be given a time to attend.

Marcus said: “Alongside all the Pup Up Cafe staples like ‘puppuccinos’, doggy ball pits and treat stations, there will be a best dressed competition, Sheffield dog businesses selling their goods and also tons more happening.

“Our breed specific events are a great way to meet fellow owners, have a friendly coffee and chat about all things training, personality, breeding and everything in between.

“The photos are always brilliant too, whenever you get 50 of the same breed in the same space it leads to some beautiful photo opportunities.”
