Sheffield's 'first' macaroni cheese restaurant reveals full menu and prices as it opens for business

A gaping hole in Sheffield's culinary scene has finally been filled, with the opening of the city’s ‘first ever’ macaroni cheese restaurant.

The eagerly-awaited mac ‘n’ cheese kitchen Macpot, located on the upstairs terrace at the city centre Orchard Square shopping complex, welcomed its first diners today, Monday, February 24.

It will be serving up the classic comfort food – alongside other options, including breakfast – from 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday; 8.30am-10pm on Fridays; and 11.30am-5pm on Saturdays.

Made with a gluten free cheese sauce, topped with crunchy, herby breadcrumbs and with vegan and vegetarian options available, the dishes promise to be in a different league to what you may remember tucking into for your school dinner.

They also sell tea, coffee, soft drinks and a range of wines and beers – and it’s a cashless venue, so bring something to tap.
