This Sheffield cafe is the perfect place to eat more greens in the new year

The picture perfect cafe located on Sharrowvale Road – Sheffield entrepreneur Zora Hamaidia - caters for vegetarians and vegans with its plant based menu, but is popular with people of all dietary persuasions.

Pom is inspired by Australian cafe culture and its bright dishes packed with colourful fruit and vegetables certainly add some sunshine to gloomy Sheffield in winter.

There is a vast range of breakfast dishes and hot drinks available – everything from breakfast boards starring smoked tofu, avocado and eggs with sourdough or banana bread, to inventive flavoured coffees and smoothies.

Expect finishing touches such as dainty flowers and for everything to look as good as it tastes.

If a leisurely lunch is your intention, then Pom offers a different hot dish every day, as well as ‘jaffles’, which are an Aussie take on the classic toasted sandwich.One of the best dishes to enjoy is their vibrant rainbow bowls of fresh, raw and gently cooked vegetables that will leave you feeling virtuous and as though that week of overindulgence never happened.

There are also daily fresh baked sweet treats available on the counter and a large selection of herbal teas.

Bookings aren’t taken and this cafe can get very busy, so plan ahead when visiting.
