Visitors are invited to enjoy a festive foodie tour of Renishaw Hall and grounds this Christmas.

The historic hall and award winning gardens at Renishaw will be open to take visitors on a journey across the traditions and stories of how Christmas has been celebrated through food, drink and entertainment.

Owner of Renishaw Hall, Alexandra Sitwell, said: “I am thrilled to welcome visitors to my family home again this Christmas, and look forward to seeing how they enjoy our theme around eat, drink and be merry.”

The Christmas opening times are from today to Sunday and then again from Thursday, December 5 to Sunday, December 8.

Special ‘Eat Drink and be Merry’ Hall tours take place at 1pm and 2:30pm daily during the Christmas opening. Booking is recommened.

In the café at Renishaw Hall, there will be a sumptuous, winter menu of homemade dishes being served daily including Christmas classics such as turkey ballantine, spiced belly pork and vegetarian wellington plus special Christmas afternoon teas, including an array of delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches which can be topped off with a glass of award-winning Renishaw Hall wine.
