A South Yorkshire farm has been transformed into a wonderland to bring Lewis Carroll’s classic novel to life.

Aston Springs Farm in Rotherham played host to the weird and wonderful world of Alice. The interactive experience was created by Mystical Magical Events, a Sheffield based theatrical events company.

The event is celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s story, Alice in Wonderland.

After travelling through the rabbit hole and drinking from the shrinking potion bottles, families were guided through an

enchanted trail. Along the way they encountered performances depicting scenes from the book such as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum in battle with each other, the queen of hearts painting the roses red and the Mad Hatter’s tea party.

The next Alice in Wonderful event will be at Cannon Hall Farm on Sunday August 9.
