Young writers from Sheffield’s Westbourne School are to have their work published in a special anthology of Yorkshire’s new literary talent.
The stories by 12 pupils from the Broomhill independent school were submitted to the Young Writers national writing competition, Once Upon a Time.
And now they are to be published in a special anthology, Once Upon a Time: Yorkshire, in March.
Teacher Deborah Loane said: “We are delighted the work of our pupils has been recognised in this exciting way.
“We take great pride in encouraging every Westbourne pupil to develop their creative skills in every area of school life and seeing their work in print will encourage them to become more imaginative and confident with their work.”
