Actor, writer, Lord of Dance, Prince of Swimwear and blogger is how Stephen Fry describes himself on his Twitter account - but he’s far too modest, writes Graham Walker.
He’s also a comedian, movie star, events host, presenter, voice over expert, an activist and above all a master story teller.
Which means fans are in for a special treat when the raconteur takes the spotlight, with his brand new volume of memoirs at Sheffield City Hall, on Sunday, September 28, 7.30pm.
More Fool Me is a heady tale of the late eighties and early nineties in which Fry – driven to create, perform and entertain – burned bright, partied hard and damned the consequences.
The Fry Chronicles was the biggest UK autobiography in 2010, selling over one million copies.
The popular QI (Quite Interesting) BBC TV quiz show host will be signing copies of his book after the 90-minute live show, preseted by David Johnson and John Mackay, with Penguin.
It is a rare opportunity to see the multi-award-winning star in person.
