Retro reader Conrad Lorenz from Nether Edge has brought in these images of his paintings of bygone Sheffield.
Conrad, who is 72 and retired from a job at Dormer Tools, said: “I have always been interested in painting but I got married and had three kids. after the kids left home I seemed to have more time on my hands.
“I do my own Christmas and Easter cards.”
He says that most of his paintings look back at Sheffield in the 1960s, especially areas where demolition has changed how they look. Many of his scenes are painted by looking at photographs.
Conrad said that he has sold his pictures by displaying them on railings in Endcliffe Park in the past.
