With your summer holiday coming up, will you be slipping happily into last year’s swimsuit, or wishing you could lay your hands on a Nigella-style burkini?
A Sheffield-based slimming programme promises to have you up to two dress sizes smaller within 10 weeks – with no crash diet involved.
“All participants need to do is commit to making changes on the inside. The changes on the outside will follow automatically,” says Alison Tynan, hypnotherapist, sports and motivational coach.
Her Kick the Diet slimming programme is a 10-week course which starts by creating the motivation to be slimmer in a client’s mind, then develops a personalised method of healthier eating and increasing exercise.
“We find people’s beliefs, habits and emotional triggers to food, then work on changing that behaviour on an unconscious level,” says Alison. “Then we work on increasing the speed the body burns energy.”
The 10-week programme starts on May 4 at Hillsborough Leisure Centre and costs £90.
