Cricket Inn bowled over by success

JUST three months after opening Totley's Cricket Inn has made the finals of the PubChef Food Excellence Awards with two dishes.

Head chef Jack Baker will be cooking honey roasted Chatsworth partridge and seafood chowder against other finalists in London.

He’ll have to wait until February to hear the results announced at the Dorchester.

FOODIES who missed chef John Parsons when he left the fish-orientated Terrace restaurant at Hathersage can catch him again on Sheffield’s Ecclesall Road. He’s taken over the catering franchise at the Food and Fine Wine deli and will be cooking hot lunches from Tuesday to Saturdays.
