Managing director Ismail Aslan said the team at the popular eaterie on Abbeydale Road is gearing up for a busy time – but happy they have such a loyal group of customers.

He said: “We want to thank our clients for making this a very successful year and we wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a great 2024, when we look forward to welcoming them again. Before that, why not come and try our festive treats we are sure everyone will enjoy?

“And come and join us for this year's New Year celebrations where we will be having belly dancers for your entertainment.”

Festive menu

This Christmas and New Year Mavi Ruya has a mouth-watering menu to excite the senses. Two courses are £40pp and three courses are £44.99.

A starter can be traditional hummus or babganoush as well as fabulous Turkish beef sausage – sucuk.

The main courses are to be adored and Turkish salads, rice dishes, kebabs and the special lamb – marinated and then roasted cooked in a clay pot.

The desserts include the ever-popular baklava – go on, you know you want to and it is Christmas!
