Listed on Booking.com, this “Premier Inn hotel” in Wombwell features a restaurant, bar, garden and spa & wellness centre. The “5-star hotel” also claims to provide round-the-clock service with a 24-hour front desk, as well as room service.

All rooms at the “hotel” are fitted with a balcony and equipped with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV for that extra slice of luxury. Just excuse the mess. We can’t guarantee the bed sheets have been changed recently, either.

And you can enjoy an breakfast buffet – cooked in the not-so spotless kitchen – every morning to make sure you start the day right. You could even take in the views of the nearby bus stop while you eat. Or perhaps wait until the sun sets and enjoy them with a drink or two from the hotel’s bar.

An on-site swimming pool will help cure any hangover and make your stay extra special. For an extra cost you can relax in the jacuzzi and sauna after a workout in the fitness centre. Don’t forget to grab a clean towel from the bathroom.

Family rooms are also available for those bringing children. International guests are welcome too, as the hosts claim to “speak your language” and offer an airport shuttle service.

All of this could be yours for just £100 a night for two adults.

However, on Friday afternoon a spokesperson from the company confirmed it has now been removed from their website with immediate effect.

A statement said: “We take the process of verifying accommodation listings extremely seriously at Booking.com.

“In the extremely rare instance that there might be some cause for doubt or concern with a specific property, we investigate and act immediately, removing the property if it has indeed been incorrectly listed, just as we have done in this instance.”
