Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, based in North Anston, currently has 16 dogs in their care.
Half of these are sighthound breeds, which include greyhounds, whippets and lurchers.
Thornberry appealed this month for greyhound-lovers to get in touch due to them finding Tilly, Albus and Rue particularly difficult to rehome.
Among the other pups are 18-week old Max the cockapoo and one-year-old Titch the Nuttall Terrier.

5. Blue and Jojo
Blue and Jojo, aged 11 and 9, are a lovely little duo and will be rehomed as a pair. The whippet and lurcher are very friendly and affectionate, brilliant with everyone familiar and unfamiliar. They would be fine to live with children over the age of 10. 6. Lola
3-year-old Lola is a very quiet and loving dog, who is in need of a quiet home where she able to come out of her shell. Lola was previously an ex-racing Greyhound prior to coming to Thornberry. It would be possible for Lola to live with another dog and even children over the age of 10, given if everything was suitable. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
7. Skye
Skye, a 23-week-old Staffy bull terrier cross, is a young bouncy pup who will require all training from scratch. A garden is essential for her adoption. She will need to attend puppy training classes as part of her adoption criteria, too. 8. Rocky
Rocky, a two and a half-year-old pug X Jack Russell, is full of beans and always wants to be on the go. Rocky would benefit from an active household where children are aged 12+. He is still very puppy like so would benefit from attending training classes as part of his adoption criteria. Rocky could live with other dogs dependent on a successful dog introduction here at Thornberry and has previously lived with cats. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
