Women workers during World War Two at Brown Bayley's, Attercliffe. Pictured (top row on the right) is Lavinia Shaw (nee Cockayne). She was born in 1899 and worked in the machine shop on a lathe at Brown Bayley's during the 1940s along with her daughters Hilda (from 1941) Winifred (from 1942) and Lavinia (junior) (from 1948).
