Sheffield weather: 17 pictures of people having fun in the snow from yesteryear

There’s nothing quite like waking up and seeing the city covered in a blanket of snow and over the years us Sheffielders have always made the most of having fun in the snow.

We have dug in to our archives and found some forgotten pictures going back to the 1940s.
