Remembering the Sheffield floods of November 2000 – the wettest season since records began

The autumn of 2000 was the wettest in the United Kingdom since records began in 1766 and Sheffield and South Yorkshire were submerged under water as river banks broke and roads and homes were flooded.

Take a look back and remember the sandbagging and boat rescues which took place in November 2000.
