We asked Star readers on social media which buildings they’d like to demolish or renovate and here are the answers – ignoring the traditional football bants about what should happen to the Blades and Owls stadiums! One plea was made for the entire city centre to be brought back to life.

2. Show the Showroom some TLC

3. A Harrow-ing view
There was a heartfelt plea for Ye Old Harrow pub on Broad Street from Brett D on Twitter, who also is no fan of University of Sheffield building The Diamond.
