1. People's Republic
Our engagement editor Chris Hallam would like to rebuild The Republic nightclub on Matilda Street, which burned down in 2007. Kelly Mae Yates, Paul Dodd and Paul Jones all agreed.

2. Show the Showroom some TLC
Craig P Sheppard, on Twitter, said the Showroom Cinema building on Paternoster Row "is so beautiful but needs a refurb to restore it to its former glory".

3. A Harrow-ing view
There was a heartfelt plea for Ye Old Harrow pub on Broad Street from Brett D on Twitter, who also is no fan of University of Sheffield building The Diamond. He said: "In all seriousness and, without trashing my former university, probably the pub next to Granelli’s. Living across from that place last year never didn’t creep me out!"

4. Picture House restoration
@quinnite on Twitter wants to know why an investor wouldn't want to restore Abbeydale Picture House on Abbeydale Road to its former glory. Peter Reed pointed out that a group are working on it.
