Forgotten pictures of Sheffield's Moorhead going back to the Victorian era

Moorhead, at the junction of Pinstone Street, The Moor and Furnival Gate, welcomed Queen Victoria and was home to the Crimean War Monument but now these pictures are just a moment in history.

The pictures have been donated to The Star by Picture Sheffield, the city’s photo archive, and take us back on a journey almost 130 years.
