Usually the rally takes place near the site of the former British Coal coking plant near Rotherham to commemorate the mass picket of June 18, 1984 which was called by striking miners and repeat the campaign’s call for an independent inquiry into violent policing on the day.

The event will be live-streamed via the campaign’s Facebook page, starting at 1pm on Saturday, June 20.
