Are you a face in the crowd at Sheffield's Tramlines Festival or Sport Aid 88 at Hillsborough Park?

Sheffield’s Tramlines music festival is back at Hillsborough Park for the third time in July – and fans are keenly awaiting the announcement of the line-up on social media on Monday (April 26) at 6pm.

The festival, which takes place on July 23-25 after a year’s break last year because of Covid, moved its main stage to the park in 2018. Website: https://tramlines.org.uk/

However, this is not the first time there’s been a live music event in the park. Back in September 1988, African famine relief charity Sport Aid held a big event there with a line-up including Eddy Grant, Squeeze, Womack and Womack, Climie Fisher, Heaven 17, Proclaimers, Mica Paris, Status Quo, The Hollies and The Primitives.
