Sheffield's Normandy heroes pay tribute to Duke of Edinburgh

The Sheffield branch of the Normandy Veterans association paid floral tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh, with a wreath laid in Weston park on Saturday morning.

The Duke is also a Veteran of the Second World War, serving in the Royal Navy.

He was even mentioned in dispatches for his role in the Battle of Cape Matapan. and was held in the highest esteem by all branches of the armed forces.
